Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:18:39 UTC
Insert-Object-Chart with A2:E4 selected of a table like the one below doesn't work. +---+---------+---------+ | | L1 | L2 | +---+----+----+----+----+ | | G1 | G2 | G1 | G2 | +---+----+----+----+----+ | A | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | +---+----+----+----+----+ | B | 21 | 22 | 23 | 24 | +---+----+----+----+----+

I can confirm the defect for OOo3.0Beta on WinXp. You get the chart dialog, but you cannot enter a range in the "data range" tab and cannot switch to "data in rows". You can use the "Data series" tab. Workaround: First create the chart, than merge the cells. This issue might be connected to issue 75742.
Same problem as issue 88463. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 88463 ***

? Issue 88463 is about borders, not about charts.
I had the wrong string in clipboard ;-) Should be dup to issue 75743. Reopeneing to correct.
Marking as duplicate. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 75743 ***
Closing duplicate again - and correctly ;-)
