RPT: grouping does not work

the most accurate description can be read in issue 78611, but as I can not reopen it, here as new: Do not know what is expected, but grouping does not function: menue-item sort/grouping works as expected, but report-result is one blank page only And: deleting/disable grouping from sort/grouping does NOT make report work againt, it is still functionless after that. Confirmed w/ ooo 2.4, SRB 1.03 under XP However - it does not happen with SRB 1.0.3 using OOo 3.0 beta builds. See attached file for example. Unzip all the files, open the odb file and change the setting for the location of the dBase file then run the two reports. The report using a group setting is blank while the copy of the same report with the group removed runs without problem. Adding keyword REGRESSION as both reports work under 2.4 using SRB 1.0.2

hmmm - guess you can not confirm and assign in one step?
We don't have a dedicated target for the SRB, so I put OOo 3.0 onto this issue, which is the most pressing target we currently have.
Fixed in srb104. I raised also the micro version from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4

reopend tried to reuse 103-made reports aswell as use new 104-made reports as well as with queries having a sort-option used aswell as with queries with no sort-option aswell as with filter-criteria within query aswell as with filtercriteria from report-properties result is always the same and as before: report with no-grouping work report with grouping gives blank pages only Martin (tested on w2K with OO.o 2.4.1RC2 und SRB 104) Btw: The Data-content-button does not function when queries are used. was that expected?
well - funny things grouping seems to work, but can not seriously checked, as at first something needs to be done with base itself: Field-objects are not visible anymore Martin

Hi mhatheoo, For me the reports in the bugdocs works without problems. If you have any other problem with the report builder please provide a step-by-step describtion in a new issue whats going wrong. I set this issue to FIXED again because the problem described here is fixed. Bye Marc

This issue is closed automatically and wasn't rechecked in a current version of OOo. The fixed issue should be integrated in OOo since more than half a year. If you think this issue isn't fixed in a current version (OOo 3.1), please reopen it and change the field 'Target Milestone' accordingly.
