Description clytie 2008-05-26 09:45:58 UTC
(Screenshot taken in DEV300_m10, Windows XP).
We can't exactly show you a screenshot of the currency not being there, but the Vietnamese currency
is not listed under Options > Language Settings > Languages > Default Currency.

It is, however, listed in the iso-codes package, which is generally used as a reference for world lists of
languages and codes, countries, provinces and currencies. The iso-codes file for currencies is
iso_4217:

#. currency_name for VND
msgid "Dong"
msgstr "Đồng"

Please add the Vietnamese currency to the list.

Can't reproduce here (Solaris DEV300m13). It shows up as
VND ₫ Vietnamese
between
VEF BsF Spanish (Venezuela)
and
XAF CFA Sango

It shows up on my new Mac OSX DEV300_m14 build, as well. (I didn't have a 3.0 build when I reported
this, so I couldn't check it.) The user who reported this is using an older Windows build. I've now asked
him to check again, and have asked on our l10n list for reports on whether it shows up in different
builds and under different systems.

This may be an error by the user, or it may be something that has since been fixed, but it's worth
checking, just to be sure.

It looks like we're clear on Windows, too, so this is a user error. Sorry for the waste of time.
