In FindFGM.odt, search for .*, specify Regular expressions, and Format: Franklin Gothic Medium find ':0', ':1', ..., which are all regular --not italic, not bold. OK. redo the search with Format: Franklin Gothic Medium, regular --displayed as 'Franklin Gothic Medium, Not Italic, normal' find... nothing!
Created attachment 54139 [details] contains Franklin... strings to find

Created attachment 80809 [details] Another example The attached document have two paragraph styles applied, Default and, on second paragraph, Caption. The Caption style is all italic. On this second paragraph there are two words ("particular" and "grab") that are non italic and were directly formatted with Ctrl-I. If you search using More options → Format → Font tab → Regular the search tool will not find those two words unless you check "Including styles", but on that situation the search tool will find *all* regular text, including first and last paragraph. This is a serious limitation on the search engine, because it will fail on several normal tasks like finding a word with hard formatting on a heading, for example.
