I checked with "3.0.0 Beta Multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [300m2 (Build9301)]" with enabled CTL and can NOT confirm the reported effect. @liushibo_redflag Pls. attach a sample document and a more detailed step by step instruction (no Idea where the "text formatting" pane can be found)!
Set to new and change the target.
I can reproduce the bug in bea300m2
Currently I even am not sure whether It understand the problem - I observe just the opposite with server installation of "AOO 4.1.0-dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m14(Build:9760) - Rev. 1577236 2014-03-15]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile: 0. Menu 'Tools -> Options -> Languages' Enable CTL + Asian Languages 2. Open New Presentation without frills, only title 3. Click into Tiltle, Type "F" 4. In 'Format Toolbar' click 'Text direction form top to bottom' icon > Text direction changes from "LTR" to "Top to bottom" 5. Click Undo Icon > Text direction is back to "LTR" Bug: Text no longer vertically centered, but at the top of the text box Additional Info: (a) Same with Text below Title (b) No problem if you click 'Format toolbar -> Text direction from left to right' in step 5 (c) Reproducible with LibO 3.5.7.2 Build 350m1(Build:2) on UBUNTU Linux 12.04 x64 (VirtualBox), so OS = All
