Description graham_h 2008-06-26 16:02:38 UTC
I have created a form and placed a navigation bar inside it.
I want to run a Macro whenever a button is pressed inside the bar. (forward,
back, last record etc).
The only action that appears to be recognised is "Mouse Inside"

Using Gentoo AMD64, OpenOffice 2.4.1

Confirmed using 2.4.1 w/ XP and Ubuntu 8.04 and 3.0 m_21 w/ Ubuntu

Assigning events listed on the events tab for a navigation bar control, to basic
sub procedures, fails to work at all for:
Receiving focus, losing focus, key pressed, key releases, mouse button pressed,
mouse button released

An assigned basic sub procedure for mouse moved, mouse moved while key pressed
and mouse outside, is called only periodically, not consistently.

Assigning the event "mouse inside" seems to work as expected.

@graham_h - you may want to look at working with the events on the datacontrol
that that is the parent of the navigation bar as way to achieve your desired
results.
