Description jmgammon 2008-07-01 17:27:50 UTC
I submit this realizing that there is a statement when setting the default save
option as a MS Word 97/2000/XP that reads: "Not Using ODF 1.2 may cause some
information to be lost"

When saving a document as a MS Word 97/2000/XP, bullet formatting is lost when
the document is reopened. The bullets exist, but the indention and the spacing
between the bullet and the text is lost. I can provide examples if needed.

Thanks.

Fixed by issue 89178 (ODF 1.1) and issue 86652 (doc format).

How can this be linked to a "Fixed" issue when the problem still exists. Let me
know if there is something I am missing here.

Thanks.

Yes, you are missing something...
This issue has been marked as duplicate. The other issue is set to
"Verified/Fixed". This means it is fixed in an internal build and will be
integrated into a public build soon (maybe next week).

This issue still exists in OOo 3.0.0 Beta2 BEB300m3 (Build:9328) which I just
downloaded and installed on Mac OSX (aqua). Did the fix slip this build?
Comment 9 michael.ruess 2008-07-15 09:23:06 UTC
No, the fix didn't slip - it was just finished after the beta2 code freeze. It
will be integrated from DEV300m24 on.
