+me ( cannot work when tunnel is down)
reassigning to support...
Thank you for contacting CollabNet support. We had an another user ( Martin)reported this issue. The password is been reset to "tunnel". Could you please try again and let us know, if it works. Thanks and Regards, Karthikeyan.S, Support Operations.
Can you please collect the *RSA keys* of the users and upload it under "Manage SSH users" in Administration tab of the site. Please let us know, if it works. Thanks and Regards, Karthikeyan.S, Support Operations.
making a login possible without ssh-key and even more to state the password needed in public is a stupid idea. Please revert asap!
..and explain why a /rsa/ key is required...
As discussed with my internal team, i have asked for RSA keys. I would re-check this information and get back to you for the same. Thanks and Regards, Karthikeyan.S, Support Operations.
I am currently working on this issue with Martin & checking on the authentication change. Will inform you once it is fixed. Note:No RSA keys are required from your side. Regards, Ramya Support Operations
Cloph, The password was reverted & Stefan has been informed on this reset.Sorry for the inconvenience. Regards, Ramya Support Operations
I am able to establish the tunnel as I used to.Hence reducing the priority to P2.Can you please check from your end. The cause for the issue was due to the modification of permissions for establishing the tunnel. The root permission was reset to tunnel permissions. Regards, Ramya Support Operations
back to P1 While now the tunnel can be established again (via ssh-key), access to the repository itself is denied: $ cvs -q update cvs [update aborted]: connect to localhost(127.0.0.1):2401 failed: Connection refused (tunnel created with: ssh -2 -C -x -L 2401:localhost:2401 tunnel@openoffice.org)
Hmm - trying again and it works, reducing prio again (probably error at my end wrt the tunnel). BUT: $ cvs co -c cvs [checkout aborted]: failed to open the modules file cvs checkout: dying gasps from localhost unexpected There is no module file anymore, no aliases anymore.
CVS has been brought back to normal, We have verified it from our end, Can you please verify the same from your end. Regards, Praveen Support Operation.
The problem is fixed.
