Description psform152 2008-08-10 13:41:39 UTC
The font of the page number field in the header reverts to the Writer default
when the document is Saved as .doc. When Saved as .odt, the document behaves as
expected. These steps produce this problem:

1. Under Tools > Options, the Basic Fonts in Writer are set to Courier 12 except
for the Heading which is set to Arial 14.
2. In a New document, go to Insert > Header > Default.
3. In the header type your last name, put a space, go to Insert > Fields > Page
number.
4. Click right justify in toolbar.
5. Highlight the last name and page number.
6. In the toolbar, choose Times New Roman as the font.
7. Save the document as .odt.
8. Go to File > Save as, and save again as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP .doc.
9. Open the respective documents in Writer.
10. The .odt retains Times New Roman for the last name and the page number field.
11. The .doc retains Times New Roman for the last name, but reverts to Courier
for the page number field.
