The open dialog for all of the Open Office applications doesn't remember the
last folder you were in. In fact, it seems to use the folder that was the last
one you selected when you last closed open office. Whenever you open the "open"
dialog, it should start in the folder you were last in for each individual
application (writer, impress, etc).
