Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 93135
Printing document with multiple paper sizes - > prints on same size
Last modified: 2013-04-15 19:23:31 UTC
I have a .doc file containing A4, A3 and A5 size pages in it, I use RED HAT Enterprise Linux 5 which comes with OpenOffice 2.0.4. When I print this document on my printer it correctly prints the pages on A4, A3, A5... (the printer in the office has cassettes with each of these paper sizes in). I have downloaded and installed 2.4.1 from your website (minus desktop integration as there is not one for Redhat). Now when I print my document all the pages come out on A4 even though it is the same document and when we view print preview it shows the different paper sizes. Procedure: 1. Download and install 2.4.1 from openoffice.org website. My update procedure is do to download the RPMS and install using the command: sudo rpm -Uivh *rpm 2. Open document attached to this issue. 3. Select file print, select printer that can handle A4, A5, A3 paper. 4. Print comes out all A4.

Same problem occurs under SUSE Linux v11.1 with an HP printer and a CUPS driver. Documents starting with an inserted DL envelope have the whole document shrunk to DL size even though the page size is set to A4 for the following pages. However, the same files input to OpenOffice Writer running on Windows Vista print out fine with the HP driver.
