 - On what Windows platform diid you experience this (XP/Vista)?
 - What UI language was active what this happened?
 - Does the crash occur every time you go Tools-Options- Language settings?
 - Where did you get the install set and the lnagpack from (URL)?

- I downloaded langpack and ru from
ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/openoffice/extended/3.0.0rc1/

-WinXP Hungarian Home, SP3.

- I tried three times, only one times I go through recovery process which
generated error msg.

Additionally: 
After uninstallation of Hu langpack Ru OOo claims to restart, after that need to
repair Ru installation. 

After I removed Ru OOo, because I installed it for only check Hu langpack, to
cross check bugs find with en_US+Hu, and submitted several issue on hu
translation.

SBA: I cannot see any problems. I tried OOO300_m5 (OOo3.0 RC1) and OOO 300_m6.
My scenario:
 - Clear remains of former installations (i.e. user directory)
 - Install Russian OOo on WinXP (In Setup: choose for current user only)
 - Start Office (to verify it works now)
 - Close Office (File-Exit)
 - make sure the quickstarter is off (verify via windows task pane or task manager)
 - Install HU languagepack with default values
 - Start Office
 - Tools - Options - Language settings - Languages - Change UI Language, OK
 - Close Office
 - Restart Office
 - UI language can be changed as expected from RU to HU and back.
-> Set to "Worksforme".

SBA->r4zoli: Please re-verify your findings following my scenario and comment
here, thank you. 
(1) Note that I did not have any extra dictionary extensions installed.
(2) Note that the "System cleanup" (delete or rename the Office's user directory
before installation) is important to have a "real-life end-user scenario".

Original installation was with Ru, Hu langpack plus hu lang extensions. and for
all user, I renamed my settings, reinstallation without extensions, for me,
crash again, only with ru installation. I unistalled all. I deleted all folders
in C:\Program Files\, intallation Ru, Hu langpack no problems, installation of
all earlier extensions, no problems.  
I Installed all earlier dev versions for all user, and allways uninstalled older
versions before installed new, some remaining settings from older versions in
program files caused the crash.
It never said anywhere, to delete program files folders after removing earlier
versions. It needs to express directly somewhere in download page.
