On Fedora 10 Alpha (16.09.2008) it is not possible to start the testtool
(tt_progs/linux/testtool9) due to the error "No suitable windowing system found".

Usually this would be a non-issue but the office application starts without
problem so it is likely that recent changes to the office code need to be
backported to the VCL testtool.

Note: The VCL Testtool that comes with the Office as optional component works ok.

just a guess, but you had DISPLAY set?
and there was a suitable VCL plugin installed?
