The bug listed as 90849 which effects the 2.X release of OpenOffice is still
present in the most upto date Release Candidate 2 version of OpenOffice 3.

When creating a spreadsheet if you choose to add a note to a cell, if that note
overlaps a cell which contains a hyperlink, when editing or viewing the note
hovering over the hyperlink causes it to activate the "mouse over" for the url
beneath it and even lists the "alt text" for the URL.

Moving the comment over a cell with a hyperlink does show the URL when the mouse is over that cell although obscured by the comment area.
