Description vcdielab 2008-10-03 09:06:33 UTC
esistono.

Openoffice.org is an international project. Therefore we can (besides the native
language projects) only accept issues in English. Please translate your issue to
English and change the summary to English too. If you need help, you should ask
in your native language project.

Can someone please translate the report? I believe it's concerning the problem
that it's impossible to add a hyperlink to a picture in CALC.
Related to or DUP of Issue 41051?

@vcdielab:
Really Version 1.0.0?

Hi!
I have find a strange thing in OOo2.4 for MS Windows.
I want to put an hyperlink into an image but there is no way to make this.
I try to make the same action with OOo2.4 for openSuSE (linux) and I find the
hyperlink button by right clicking the image.
I create the .ods file with OOo2.4-openSuSE and it works fine.
If I open the same file with OOo2.4-Windows there is no image and no link and
sometime that I try to open it in OOo2.4-Windows there is a pop-up window that
tell me that the file seems damaged and OOo try to repair it but after the
repair does't change anything.
If I save the same file with .xls ( with OOo2.4-linux ) and I open it with
OOo2.4-Windows it works fine, there are image and hyperlink.
I hope that you understand my bad english...
ThankS!

PG

Please attach the document as it is saved on the Linux computer.

Does that Linux computer use an original OOo or does it use a version from the
provider?

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC3 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOO300m8
(Build9357)]" and can confirm the reported effect. No hyperlink button in
context menu, and if I click the hyperlink button in the task bar after I
clicked an image in a spreadsheet, I can create a hyperlink, but it will not be
added to the image, but to the cell market with the cell cursor (where the
cursor was before I clicked the image).

Same with "2.4.1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]"
and "1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)]".

I can't see any hint's in HELP that it should be possible to add hyperlinks to
images in CALC, but it's at least inconsistent that this function is not
available for CALC; so NEW.

@vcdielab:
Please contribute additional information due to regina's request instead of
SPAMming additional issues for the same problem.
Additionally a screenshot showing your context menu might be useful.

Sorry....
However I have found a way to resolve the issue.
I click a image then
I go to Edit > ImageMap and I select the picture's area then I write eg.
[#table2] in the link parametres
The hyperlink now works perfectly in Windows also!

Thank you very much for your help!
I hope that I help other people that they have the same problem!
