Description Unknown 2002-11-25 00:44:37 UTC
I'm using RH8.0, with KDE as the desktop environment
When I create a new text document in the Open Office writer, it is listed on the
recent documents list under the Open Office file menu only. Unless I later open
this file thru a Konqueror browser window, it doesn't appear in the "recent
documents" list in the KDE panel's "start menu." It would be useful if there
was a way to get any Open Office document to appear in that list even if I only
create/open it through Open Office. Thanks!

Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it
from www.openoffice.org
many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If
the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back
It maybe not yet solve your Issue, but it worth to try.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

I am using the version 3.4.1 but cannot display "recent documents" - I am not sure when this feature vanished and now cannot find any way of reinstating the feature. Can anyone help?

Window XP SP3

Recent documents are set OK within Windows and display as normal.

Please note that this bug is for KDE, that is Linux, another operative system.
For Windows, please search another bug, or ask in the user forum or the user mailing list.

Just upgraded to 4.0.1 but when I save a document, the "recent document" tab does not display it. Using XP 32 It worked OK on the previous version
