The attached Writer form takes a longer time to open in OOo 3.0.0 than in 2.4.1.
Using the same PC, in 2.4.1 takes around five seconds, in 3.0.0 takes around
three minutes.
On my Quad core PC, using a system monitor, I noted that 3.0.0 uses one of my
CPU core 100% while opening the file.

Test carried out on Debian Linux testing, KDE 3.5.9.

First discovered on Windows Vista with 3.0.0, where I was forced to downgrade to
2.4.1 because of this issue.

Further checks need to be carried out on other platforms and OS.

It seems to be the same problem as in issue 94033. If I set the document to
"open in design mode", it opens quickly, otherwise it takes more than three
minutes and do not wait whether it will open eventually.

Please try, whether it depends on "open in design mode" for you too.

Confirmed, opening in design mode the behavior is as in 2.4.1.
