Could not download using: "download overview": English, 3.0.0, MacOSX PPC, 2.4.1 or
"form": Product-OpenOffice3.0.0, Platform- MacOSXPPC, Locale-English. 

Was able to download, install & register the Spanish version. Could not go beyond the initial page.

I am using an iMac G5 with OSX 10.4.1. 

Not a very promising first user experience.

Correction: The operating system is OS X 10.4.11.

Correct. I've removed the MacOSX PPC 2.4.1 link from the download page. Nobody
has released a PPC 2.4.1, 3.0.0 version for en-US yet.

There is a released version for 2.4.0 available

Question. Is the Spanish 3.0.0 release available for Mac OS X? The download page indicates that it is 
available. Please let me know.
