I had a .csv file opened (but not re-saved) in calc when my PC crashed. Next
time I opened OO, I got the file recovery dialog and when it tried to recover
the .csv file, the 'Text Import' dialog pops up. This is confusing behaviour.

I believe that's the expected behaviour if OOo crashes few moments the .csv has
been opened.

Please contribute more information concerning your auto backup settings, backup
directory contents, ...
Is that problem reproducible for you?
