Several keys do not work properly in Writer 3.  This includes the arrow keys,
backspace, home, end, page up, and page down.

Delete works properly, as do all visible characters I've tested.

This is a problem that has appeared in earlier versions, and was fixed by
deleting the user profile.  I tried that and it did not work.  I also tried
reassigning the arrow keys to a different function in Tools->Customize->Keyboard
with no effect.

Navigation right and left is possible using Alt+arrow, but this does not work
with the up or down arrows.

I am running Slackware 12.1 on x86 hardware.

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 (DE) Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOO300m9
(Build9358)]" and can NOT confirm the reported effect. Linux specific?
