Description max.odendahl 2009-01-14 08:14:11 UTC
new debug assertions when starting writer, probably due to writer2latexexternal:

Fallback scenario for filter or type "Latex_Writer" and locale en-Us failed.
Please check your filter configuration. From file
filter/source/config/cache/filtercache.cxx, 1739

mod: sounds like a DUPLICATE of 97690? But in m38 the bundling of writer2latex
is disabled; did you register it manually?

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 97690 ***
Comment 2 max.odendahl 2009-01-14 08:40:01 UTC
don't think it is a duplicate, as the application does start, but shows the two
assertions before

this is a to-be m39, so I guess bundling is there enabled again, I did not do
anything manually
Comment 3 rene 2009-01-14 09:24:37 UTC
mod: ok.. (I just looked at the Version: field, if you file that for a m39,
please tell so if you didn't set the Version correctly - which you admittedly
can't yet(. Cc'ing henrikjust as upstream for writer2latex.

And reassigning away from me. My work on this was just not to hide writer2latex
in xmerge although it's a completely external project.
Comment 4 rene 2009-01-14 09:25:17 UTC
oops, fix Cc
Comment 5 rene 2009-01-14 09:38:25 UTC
CCing rt/kohei, who fixed 97690
Comment 6 eric.savary 2009-01-16 14:41:19 UTC
Hi CCs!

who should be the owner of that task? MOD?
Comment 7 max.odendahl 2009-01-16 15:24:03 UTC
I was just the reporter, so I guess someone of writer2latexexternal who broke it
should fix it
Comment 8 rene 2009-01-16 15:30:06 UTC
mod: writer2latexexternal didn't "break it". At least not in the meaning that
something is seriously broken. Yes, there might be assertions, but...
Did you say yourself that it still works?

Besides that, it just affects debug builds...

And no, I won't fix it, target of my work on writer2latexexternal was getting it
to build according to OOos policy. It's an external project, so....
I don't even use the internal writer2latex but just a vanilla
writer2latex oxt built directly out of the writer2latex sources :)
Comment 9 Mathias_Bauer 2009-01-16 15:39:48 UTC
If it is confirmed, I will take it.
Comment 10 eric.savary 2009-01-23 15:01:30 UTC
@MBA: I can't install a nonpros neither with SUT nor the normal way. Please
confirm/fix or close.
