Description emmemm 2009-01-14 18:58:59 UTC
have Win XP64 and OOO3.0.
In my folder “My Documents†I have several lnk files which refer to folder in
other disk drives.
If I do doubleclick on the OpenOffice quick starter button to open a file, the
Lnk files are interpreted as files and not as a link. I.e. with click on this
Lnk tried OpenOffice these files to open. With right click and document open...
If the link is explained as such.

emmemm,
please elaborate on "If I do doubleclick on the OpenOffice quick starter
button to open a file" - double-licking QS brings up Templates dialog.

ok I'll try it: it's right double click brings up Templates dialog than next
click "Eigene Dateien" I think english is the Name My Documents (I'm not sure
because I use German Language) in this folder I have some links to folder in
other disc drive.
And now if I click on this link, Openoffice interpreted this lnk file as a
textfile not as a link and tried to open this file.
otherwise, if I do right click on QS, it brings the open dialog and here I click
a lnk file OpenOffice follow this link and show me my folder.
