Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 98223
DEV300_m39: Application doesn't start: ucpgvfs1.uno.so missing
Last modified: 2009-03-25 09:41:05 UTC
due to missing ucpgvfs1.uno.so lib the application does not start. Workaround: export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=none Found on my Linux machine
set target
it seems that library doesn't get installed but gets registered into the registry. The reason eludes me. OS is obviously Unix, X11, not "All".
sorry, for thos that actually can read ls's output, the library gets installed after all.
Actually the reason is that ucpgvfs1.uno.so cannot be loaded due to a missing libgnomevfs-20 library; on my system because it does not exist in a 32bit variety, on other systems it might not be installed. Probably that should not be enough to keep the office from starting however. tkr: could you please have a look ?
New target OOo 3.2
JA->TKR: This issue is a show stopper for 3.1. I cannot accept that the target is set to 3.2. Please discuss with PL what to do.
Discussed with KSO. Fix seems to be trivial. Possible for OOo 3.1
fixed in tkr18
TM: Please verify
Retarget to OOo 3.2
by mistake the target is still 3.2 instead of 3.1
I've installed the CWS tkr18 build and verified it can start.
