Thought all my problems wre over--refer to issue 9695.
Unable to back up my Palm using the serial port hot sync cradle, also mouse 
action is erratic. Tried to reinstall Palm software but came up with macro 
error which instructed my to close Word, which I don't have. OpenOrg?
If these issues are not easily resolved please instruct regarding total removal 
of open office, so we may be able to use the PC again.

As far as I know, there is no Palm sync in OOo anymore as there was in
SO 5.2.  I don't see any reason, OOo could cause this bug.  Even if
so,  it is definitely not an API issue.  Probably an framework issue.
 But as I said, I don't see any possible cause for this behaviour in
OOo.  

K. Krejci, I am doing some research of why so many community members
report bugs to the API component which are definitely not API issues.
 Could you help me and tell me, what made you think that this is an API
issue? Thanks.
