Description Graham Perrin 2009-02-08 17:37:59 UTC
1.	As an administrator of Mac OS X 10.5.x:
	System Preferences… | Accounts | Guest Account |
[√] Allow guests to log into this computer

—	comparable to kiosk mode

Thereafter, each guest who logs in to Mac OS X should be able to use OpenOffice.org quickly, and
without interruption.

OOo-dev requires four steps, at least one of which is inappropriate for unprivileged users.

= Suggestions for improvement =

Start centre should appear without interruption.

Personal information _should not_ be required for read only actions (e.g. reading a document that is
attached to an e-mail).

Personal information may be invited if/when the user edits something.

OOo _should not_ encourage the guest to check for updates (should not encourage running of any
application that was not pre-installed by the administrator of the computer).

An invitation to register may be appropriate at quit, but not at launch. (First: please the guest, without
interruption; invite registration only from users who are pleased.)
