When trying to change zoom level, the spreadsheet livelocks = freezes with 100%
CPU (rotating pizza).  The offending file (Excel xls) and the sampled stack are
attached.  

This happens if and only if the window is maximised on the secondary monitor. 

Intel MacBookPro, late 2008, Mac OS 10.5 Leopard.

Upon further trials, the livelock happens systematically after some time or
after some action (editing a cell, producing a #NAME error), and also when the
attached xls was converted to and then loaded from ods format.  More hang
reports are attached.
