Description Jane Sokolow 2001-03-17 00:42:07 UTC
The Boston IE tutorial is a shopping cart type app that lets you select a CD
from a list page, and then pass it to a shopping cart page. In the Boston
release, you could go back to the list page to select more CDs to accumulate in
the shopping cart until you either canceled the order or placed it.

Using Pilsen kit 010305_2, you can no longer accumulate CDs. When you go back to
the list page and select a second CD, it puts it in the shopping cart page, but
the first CD is gone, as if the session had been invalidated.

Since the session ID is passed via a cookie, I conclude that ICE browser no
longer enables cookies. And there seems to be no way within the IDE to change
this option.

If there is no way to enable cookies in the ICE browser, we can't release this
tutorial to be run on the ICE browser in the Pilsen release.

Waiting until Icebrowser 5.2 will be available (this release should solve
problem with cookies and hopefully will be jdk1.4 compatible).
