Some plugins require that they are installed into shared directories to use there APIs for development. So to verify
proper installation, this information must be available.

I have no idea where should this information be from the UI point of view but it would be nice to have it available.
Maybe in tooltip of plugin?

This bug was reported against NetBeans IDE 6.0 or an older release, or against a non-maintained module. NetBeans team does not have enough resources to get to this issue, therefore we are closing the issue as a WONTFIX.
