Hi, When I select multiple files (within a single directory or within multiple directories) and I choose to use a different text for each file, not all files are added. The 'entries' file contains some files I added, all files I added have a corresponding <filename>.<extension>.t file but none of the files are shown within the NB Explorer as being added, instead the NB Explorer shows them as local still, even after various trials for Refresh and Refresh Recursive. I haven't seen this erronuous behavior when using the same text when adding the files (by leaving the checkbox unchecked). As this leaves my system in an inconsistent state I've set the priority to P1. Iwan
After some tests on Solaris I realized, that add does not like when it is executed from a parent folder (i.e. cvs add org/netbeans/modules/vcs/NewFile.java) instead one should go to the desired folder and execute the cvs add right there (i.e. cd org/netbeans/modules/vcs; cvs add NewFile.java). This is probably a bug of cvs, but I have adapted the module to that behavior. cvs add is executed always from the folder, where files are located, which should fix this bug. Please reopen the bug if this fix does not work for you. Fixed in release32 build #20 and dev build #160.
Target milestone -> 3.2
Verified in development build #199 of NetBeans.
