Description Blair Sandberg 2001-04-09 16:28:17 UTC
Number of build where a bug happened - [36]
Java Version JDK1.3.0_01

This bug is encountered under the following conditions: A file is being viewed
from a networked (shared) drive. Someone else on another computer changes the
file. The editor pops up a dialog asking if the file should be reloaded. Upon
selecting yes, the file begins to be reloaded and the editor freezes, also
freezing the rest of the IDE environment. Netbeans must be killed from the task
manager and restarted to continue working.

We need a thread dump to be able to solve this problem. Please get a thread
dump by switching to the console window and pressing Ctrl+Break. Please add an
attachment to this bug with the resulting output written to the console window.

Could somebody from OpenIDE check the problem, please? From stack trace it seems
like a deadlock in org.openide.windows.CloneableTopComponent$Ref.componentSet. I
was not able to reproduce the problem.

May be a duplicate of:

http://core.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=10826

and should be solved now in 3.2 release but I am not sure,
Marek, please can you check it.
