Description ieising 2008-07-17 20:42:45 UTC
[ BUILD # : 200807170007 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.0_06 ]

When you open, close or delete projects by right-clicking them in the
project view, that that views isn’t updated correctly? When I close
another project, others pop-up again in the view, really annoying.

what exactly you mean by "not updating"? do you have a screenshot? I think P1s are reserved for data loss and similar
issues.
Comment 3 Petr Dvorak 2008-07-17 21:13:01 UTC
Maybe this can be the result of the new "lazy" tree views (???). The current situation is that you can meet following
situation:

You have opened only JavaApplication1 in the projects view, then you close it using the pop-up menu and after that,
JavaApplication2 and JavaApplication3 are opened in the Projects view...

This problem probably applies to all project types (tested with the most stable one -> PHP)...

I think P3 is not appropriate, Milos - if you developed NB - project with a few modules - with this issue in IDE, you
would probably went crazy (well, crazier;))... P2... lets say... Definitely must be fixed.

Just try to create 3 projects, then close some, open some... it is easily and fast reproducible...
Comment 4 Milos Kleint 2008-07-18 06:57:34 UTC
still can you provide a screenshot? I might have experienced what you describe but I want to make sure we both talk
about the same thing..

I will discuss it with you when I come to work, but I don't see how a screenshot can help in this issue. Just open
netbeans UI specification and look at how projects view should look - this is what I would send you.

Everything *looks* normal, the problem is that *wrong items* are visible in the projects view (for example: 1) projects
JavaApp1 and JavaApp2 are opened in the projects view, 2) you close JavaApp1 and 3) only JavaApp1 remains opened in the
projects view instead of JavaApp2...).
Comment 6 Lukas Hasik 2008-07-18 10:08:20 UTC
should be fixed. Try a continuous build to verify - http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/trunk/

Yes, it is a duplicate of 140423. I just wonder why I didn't find it - I guess I am getting blind from all the sitting
in front of PC.

Iwan, can you please use your mighty NetCAT skills to check the "deadlock" builds too? ;-)
Comment 8 ieising 2008-07-19 21:13:51 UTC
Yes, I'll give it a go on Monday.
