Description Samaresh Panda 2008-07-29 15:52:39 UTC
Windows Vista/JDK1.6.0_05

Every time I start NB with a fresh userdir it asks me to respond to the "License Agreement". However there is no focus
on any of the buttons. I use key-baord (press space on buttons) all the time and it is annoying that I have to use mouse
to click on "Accept". Either the focus should be on "Accept" or "Exit".

no focus in License
Comment 2 Samaresh Panda 2008-07-29 15:57:38 UTC
The other thing with this dialog is that, sometimes it hides behind other windows. Perhaps this should be made modal.
Comment 3 Peter Pis 2008-07-30 10:03:06 UTC
Reassigning to "core".

Milosi, take this one.

1. the focus is in the Scrollbar of the license text, so that users can scroll and read the license. There's no default
button on the dialog so that it's not easy to skip the dialog. However you can traverse focus via Tab key and the Alt-A
mnemonic shortcut for accept is working for me as well (on linux, on mac there's no mnemonics)

closing as wontfix, AFAIK it works as intended.
Comment 6 Antonin Nebuzelsky 2008-07-31 13:14:18 UTC
Milos makes a good point. From legal perspective it is necessary that the user is encouraged to read the whole license
and consciously invoke Accept.

You can use "tab & space" or "alt+a". Mouse is not required.
