Description lduperval 2001-10-01 13:40:33 UTC
I just downloaded the latest build. When I started it, the explorer window came
up empty. All the filesystems I'd configured have disappeared. I also had a
filesystem in the Projects tab and when I go there, it says broken link. Real
bummer.

we made some changes in the window system recently. If your userdir
was created by a dev build before the changes happened then this can
be the cause of your problem. Please try to reproduce the bug and
tell us if you succeed.
Comment 2 lduperval 2001-10-01 13:55:53 UTC
Watcha mean reproduce? Reconfigure all my filesystems and everything,
exit and restart? There's no way for me to recuperate my old settings?
Comment 3 _ ttran 2001-10-01 14:11:53 UTC
We need to know if this is an intermittent problem which we know about
or something different. If you cannot reproduce the problem then we
can close this issue. Otherwise we need to investigate further.

Can you tell us which build did you use before upgrading to the last one?
Comment 4 lduperval 2001-10-02 17:01:50 UTC
The last build I used was the 27 or 28 build, I'm not sure. I see
today that I was able to exit the 20011001 build and restart witht he
20011002 build and all the settings seem to have remained.
