Description Lukas Hasik 2001-12-04 09:36:19 UTC
Use whole desktoppane as coordinate system in MDI not only center area for
floating frames in MDI as it is now.

Current behaviour - default position of Source Editor in MDI is [0,0]. This is
kept when you switch from MDI to SDI but it is different from default
position in SDI. This behaviour cause problems see
http://openide.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=16263
Comment 1 Lukas Hasik 2001-12-04 09:39:01 UTC
IMHO,it makes sense to change it carefully. Target Milestone -> 3.4
Comment 2 David Simonek 2002-01-28 15:46:58 UTC
Reassigning to Jiri for evaluation. Jiri, please check for duplications, think
about what these enhancements will need to be implemented right and write down
your observations and thoughts to the enhs themselves.
Comment 3 Jiri Rechtacek 2002-01-30 12:59:16 UTC
Eval: I think to achieve this such a implementation of enhancement
issue 10601 is enough. When you switch from MDI to SDI then the
windows size can be set on default either by user's demand or
automatically.

Comment 6 Lukas Hasik 2002-02-13 16:07:07 UTC
it looks like some window problems after switching from SDI to MDI are
caused by this issue, increasing priority.
It's not so much connected with #10601
Comment 7 David Simonek 2002-02-13 19:27:48 UTC
bug fixed - however coordinate system wasn't changed, just erratic
behaviour in ModeData.setProps2Mode was repaired.
Comment 8 Marian Mirilovic 2002-05-30 15:07:22 UTC
verified in [nb_dev](20020530)

Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
