I went away for awhile and came back. I opened the search results window and double clicked on an item so that I could go to that location in the code. or at least that's what I tried to do. it stalled for a long time. finally got there though. after looking at the amount of logging that is going on, I wonder if it's actually the logs that are slowing the system down?? ;-o it might have been swapped to disk, but I've got plenty of free RAM so not sure why it would be. the cpu did go into high speed for a short period. That is as much as I can tell you about this issue. it is an automated bug report generated by netbeans, I don't know anything further than this. What I can tell you is that there have been other reports of slowdowns that have popped up, but I've ignored them, because they have generally been short or the computer obviously busy. But this delay was extensive and the cpu was basically idle, so decided to send thi Maximum slowness yet reported was 43349 ms, average is 11434
