Xcode has a little icon in the upper right-hand corner of it's IDE that allows the IDE to take over the entire screen, including the space where Mac's menu bar is... to return, the user user hovers at the top, where the inward arrows icon is available to restore the previous setting. Please consider doing the same for NetBeans... that is, adding the outward arrows in the upper right hand corner of the IDE on the Mac, with the associated functionality. Thanks.
No plan to do so
I would have used this feature, that is why I opened it as an enhancement request.
patch is welcome btw, the keyboard shortcut isn't working for you?
The Full Screen shortcut does not overlay the menu bar, as the upper right icon would.
(In reply to comment #4) > The Full Screen shortcut does not overlay the menu bar, as the upper right icon > would. it should in the latest dev builds
What should be in the latest dev builds? Thanks
when switching to full screen mode in dev builds the ide window should cover the whole screen - including the Dock and menu bar.
