==================================================================================

I know, that there was already such a bug and was fixed.
I suppose when I have a customizer of something it is because of
to have all possible action to "exercise" various settings of it.

In Filesystem Customizer I could:
 *mount the new one,
 *change order
 *to access hidden FSs
but I can't unmount them:-(
It's stupid when you have them hiden (and or broken) you must first them make
visible, close the customizer and unmount them from Explorer, invoke Customizer
and continue your prev.intended work...

I'm attaching the screenshot of Customizer's menu items.

You probably wrote wrong number, bug 21359 has nothing to do with this
bug.
Comment 4 Jan Zajicek 2002-03-21 15:28:41 UTC
It is duplicate of issue #21395. Just delete the settings file ;-)

Well.
FS's Customizer menu functionality in Forte 4.0 EA and also in
NetBeans 3.4 DEV=TRUNK is corrupted. See the FIRST attached picture.

FS's Customizer menu behaves (contains menu items) as expected in
NetBeans 321 version build #98. In this way I expect the customizer's
menu should work. See the SECOND attached picture

FS customizer's menu actions which are RIGHT
Comment 9 dmladek 2002-03-22 18:11:24 UTC
Well. I was interested about menu action "Delete" (In Forte Orion 4.0
CE). How doesit work, etc. Suprrisily for me it works.
But I was realy worried about my data 'cause it wanted some kind of
"Conformation Object Deletion" (after I invoked it on some selectid FS):
"Are you sure you want to delete core.jar?"

ehhh....Very unsurly I said yes, and look on my disk if this file is
still there or was realy deleted..:-(

There must be Unmount FS instead delete xxx
REaly strange and increasing the priority to P2
Comment 10 Jan Zajicek 2002-03-25 09:18:56 UTC
This is as designed from 3.3.0 and higher. FS customizer displays
content of MFS Mount (it behaves the same way as content of FS
settings node in Options dialog) where are placed setting files for
all mounted FSs.
Comment 11 dmladek 2002-03-29 09:00:19 UTC
Hello,

I discused it on [NB-UI] mailing list.
There were no objections against to reopen this issue.

so I reopening it.

thank's

I don`n like idea, that silence means agreement (silence doesn`t
impose nothing). But if you think that FS Customizer Dialog needs
improvement from UI point of view, then please keep in mind, that
filesystems are standalone and has nothing to do with presentation and
nothing with Customizer Dialog at all. Moreover I think that RFE would
be more appropriate.

But may be that you are right that Customizer Dialog could be improved
(personally I don`t consider myself as UI expert). Then consult with
UI,HIE (there would be really necessary UI specification). Perhaps
file rather RFE and find appropriate priority, component, subcomponent ...
Comment 14 dmladek 2002-03-29 10:21:24 UTC
Well, you're also right.
But this is something like assertion against assertion.

I was told that if someone is not contented with something in the IDE
it just should be discused with netBeans community. And I traied it.
And if the discusion's result will lead to change something then to
put it into IZ.
That's not may failure that noone is interested in this.
But frankly speaking it was realy "discussed" and the result is as it is.

OK.I'm lowerise the Priority to P4 and changing it to
ENHANCEMENT, right?

so long Daniel

Already fixed in NB3.4
Comment 19 dmladek 2003-07-08 17:42:04 UTC
Hmmm.... there was no fix in NB3.4 :-(
in current NB.35 od dev4.0 there is still menu item "Delete" in FS's
customizer instead "unmount FS".

Thus, I'm reopening it...
It is RFE.
Comment 20 Chris Ledantec 2003-07-09 09:19:01 UTC
i'm more inclined to call this a ui bug. the opposite of mounting a
filesystem is not deleting a filesystem.

not sure where this stands for target milestones bcs 1. it's a trivial
fix in bundle but 2. the project system doesn't use the mount/unmount
paradigm.
Comment 21 rmatous 2004-02-03 10:14:02 UTC
Fixed in trunk.
