On restarting NetBeans with the NetBeans O'Reilly book 
sources (large DocBook DTD & about 20 files as entity 
includes), CPU usage remains at 98 percent for NetBeans 
for 10-15 minutes on a 512MB machine.  IDE menus come up 
after 20 second delay.
