I'd like to merge this API (together with other changes we did with Andrew) after 7.4 code freeze.

I'll attach the extexcution module diff only and full diff of all changes.

Andrew one remaining thing to do before the actual merge would be to incorporate this fix into your binaries version 1.1: http://hg.netbeans.org/cnd-main/file/0f1f342a9f73/dlight.nativeexecution/external/binaries-list.
