Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905)
Operating System = Linux version 4.1.3-040103-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_45
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.45-b02

With dark themes, the color contrast of the properties window is terrible. In my case it becomes white background with light grey foreground: almost impossible to read.
I searched in all the color & fonts options and could not find anything for the properties window (there are options for Properties Files, though).
There should be an option to configure how the properties window displays its content/
