Description Jesse Glick 2002-07-12 21:21:58 UTC
[dev jul 10 MDI 1.4.0_01 Linux/Sawfish] If you
dock the scripting console into the editor window,
it is inconvenient to use. Say KB focus is in the
scripting pane (normal!). Alt-Left to go to some
editor tab. Alt-Right to go back to the scripting
console. No KB focus in the scripting pane! You
need to press TAB four times.

And when you press Alt-V to evaluate something,
the output window ("Dynamic Java" etc.) gets
focus, which is not what you want, and to get back
to the place where you were just typing, you need
to press Ctrl-3 TAB TAB TAB TAB - annoying.

fixed the tabbing behaviour. When the topcomponent gets focus, the
focus is switched to the editor pane that the user writes into.

the Output Window gaining focus cannot be helped I think, however now
it's less annoying since, you just press CTRL-3 and are ok.
