Description Michael Ottati 2002-11-06 19:27:12 UTC
After the code integrations of this week, XTest will not
run with the new code base. I get the attached class
loader failure as reported by XTest. These tests and the
set up that ran them worked as of Friday Nov 1.

This change prevents me from running my test harness.

What build did you use? Also when did you check out XTest? This
problem should be already fixed - please make sure you're using the
latest XTest as well as the latest core (NetBeans build 200211060100
works well).
Comment 4 Michael Ottati 2002-11-07 01:20:45 UTC
The nb_all part of the build was sometime Tuesday in the
AM california time. The xtest, junit, jemmy and jellytools
part had been updated on Wednesday 11:00 PST.

This brings up an interesting question that perhaps you
can answer. How should a user of Xtest and jellytools be
building those parts of the system. I currently check out
and build by hand the above mentioned objects. I notice
that running an Xtest will selfcompile what it needs along
with the junit prerequisites. I also note that jellytools
will do the same for jemmy.

Is there some link under either xtest or jellytools that
explains all of this.

Sorry for misreporting the bug. I was under the impression
that I did my update on Tuesday late enough.
Comment 5 Michael Ottati 2002-11-07 01:22:33 UTC
Oh yes, I forgot to mention the problem is fixed. I forgot
to mention this because the first time I wrote this I did
mention it and it got tossed by the web system.
