I use the command line cvs support of NetBeans. In
the CVS-Update Dialog I choose "Show Trace of
Command Execution" and clicked the "Set As
Default" Button.
If I restart NetBeans the "Show Trace of Command
Execution" option is not selected any more.

This is the same problem as issue #22533. The global options are not
retained accross IDE restart. The default options are changed only for
the one session, after restart you get the original defaults.

Agreed. Verified as duplicate of another bug.
