Please see the following list of issues that have been fixed in all vcs modules for 3.5 and make sure the fixes are transferred to prj40_prototype branch. This is just a formal task to keep track of all modules integrating their performance improvement from NB 3.5 to Projects. According to issue 32565 this should be already done (except javacvs) - please confirm. If some issues need not or cannot be integrated in projects, mention them here explicitly. vcscore: issue 26113, issue 27713, issue 28352, issue 28489, issue 28708, issue 32065, issue 32824 vcsgener: issue 28085 diff: issue 29888 javacvs: issue 25926, issue 28722, issue 28723, issue 30521, issue 32385
Setting this issue depending on the relevant issues to be transferred. This is just a formal way to keep track of the remaining fixes, please remove the issue from dependency once you integrate the fix.
You're right, all the fixes should be already there. To be 100% sure, I'm going to verify this. javacvs module was not branched to prj40_prototype, so this does not apply to javacvs.
"Fixed". I've verified, that all changes are present in prj40_prototype branch with the exception of javacvs, which does not have the branch.
Martin, thanks for the verification. I suggest (just for completeness) to keep this issue open until javacvs is integrated with projects too, as it is being rewritten and the fixes might not be moved automatically. The related issues are listed in "Issue 34219 depends on" field. If you find all the issues irrelevant in the new implementation, than we may close this issue as fixed already now.
IMHO this is fixed. The javacvs library is already a part of projects builds and there were no performance issues. The rest of javacvs module will not be a part of projects build. Just some dialogs were copied to the cvs profile.
Tomas, would you mind verify this task if it was done well, please? thanks -dan
I talked about this with Martin already time ago. I think it's ok.
