Description _ pkuzel 2005-01-05 09:25:10 UTC
I cannot publish project news in year 2005. There
is only 1998-2004.

This happened last year also! See issue 38611. Also, mailing list
archives don't show 2005, see issue 52867.

Filed an internal issue PCN 34079 for the engineers to work on. Will
update as and when i get the response form the engineers.

Reducing the priority to P2. However, the internal ticket is still
escalated.

I realise this is finicky and messy and you're working on it, but we
have a release happening this Friday (tomorrow). We will have a news
announcement on the site for it of course, and if there's any way it
can say "Jan 21, 2005" rarther than "Dec 31, 2004" it would be great.
Comment 5 Unknown 2005-01-21 00:33:12 UTC
Jack, the changes are made to resolve this. We have to schedule a
downtime (max. 30 mins) to get this implemented on the netbeans.org
site. Please confirm if anytime between 10-AM to 4-00 PM Pacific
works for you on Friday, Jan 21, 2005.
Comment 6 jcatchpoole 2005-01-21 16:12:50 UTC
Thanks for getting this done. However with the release happening
today we are expecting some traffic and interest, so we'd like to
avoid any outage daytime Friday if possible. Anytime over the
weekend would be fine, or failing that Monday. If you need a
specific time Monday, I'd say as early morning US time as you can is
best. Thanks.
Comment 7 Unknown 2005-01-21 20:26:47 UTC
Scheduling this for early Monday (US time). Please set the broadcast
on the site noting that for "site maintenance the web site may not
be available briefly during the day".

Thanks
Comment 8 Unknown 2005-01-21 20:28:11 UTC
CN support will clear the broadcast once the changes are applied.
Comment 9 jcatchpoole 2005-01-24 11:01:41 UTC
I don't know what a broadcast is or how to set one, but nevermind, pls
go ahead with the outage on Monday.
Comment 10 Unknown 2005-01-25 06:06:12 UTC
Sorry for the delay in update.
This is already fixed earlier during the day. Please verify and
close.
Comment 11 jcatchpoole 2005-01-27 19:13:42 UTC
Verified.
