Description misterm 2005-10-12 18:38:02 UTC
[ BUILD # : 5.0 beta ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.4.2_xx ]

When there was a master node for modules in the classic options dialog, it was easier to guess that any general sorting option would be available at that node. Now, it is possible to change the way _all_ modules are sorted by clicking on _one_ of them. This is hard to find and, for old users, it simply seems this functionality is gone.

The UI should be improved so such feature becomes more "visible".

Jindro, please consider this enhancement to find any better placement of Sort
action. Thanks

I think current sorting is ok, however I also have to admit it can be improved further. The most intuitive
way how to sort something in the table is to click on the table header - a sort indicator appears and the
list is sorted in a different way.

It's in plan to improve UI to support better sorting modules.

Old Module Manager (part of Autoupdate) was moved into contrib/modulemanager.
