If plugin setup to use Sun Java System Application Server Enterprise Edition 8.1 from Sun Java Enterprise System 4 View Admin console command opens browser and point to http://localhost:4849 instead of https://localhost:4849
I'm sorry, but enterprise version of Java System Application Server is not supported in NetBeans
NB support deploying on EE srevers
Nitya, will you attempt to fix this for NetBeans 5.5, or is that a non-goal? Thanks.
The Url maps correctlty to https for appserver EE if the server is running. But when the server is stopped, the url comes up as http. Will investigate if it is possible to identify server type when server is not running.
At this time, there is no way to identify the server type when the server is not running. One solution would be to disable the View Admin Console action when server is not running. Either way, this is not a P2 issue. Downgrading to P3
this is really looks like a p4 issue. The admin console would not open even if the url were correct anyway.. The server is not running. Right?
Builds: Sun Java(TM) Studio Enterprise 8.1 (Build 2006.07.23) Netbeans 5.5 Beta 2 (Build 200607190830, Ent.Pack 2006.07.19) Solaris: SunOS 5.10 Generic_118844-26 i86pc i386 i86pc I can reproduce this issue on both NB (5.0 and 5.5). I change version of this issue. I have tested with started and with stoped server. NetBeans always opens browser and point to http://localhost:4849 instead of https://localhost:4849.
