Description jlautz 2006-09-13 22:55:45 UTC
Seen on Windows XP with NB build 200609120000:

It seems there is no way to switch between the column and outline views in the
graphical WSDL editor without using mouse clicks. We need a key-only way to do this.
Comment 1 Shivanand Kini 2006-09-14 23:15:04 UTC
nathan, can we add keyboard shortcuts to the column/tree view buttons?
Comment 2 Nathan Fiedler 2006-09-15 00:43:50 UTC
You can reach those buttons using Tab traversal. When the button gets the focus,
use the space bar to activate it. Adding keyboard shortcuts is going to be major
redesign of the category pane (assuming you want configurable shortcuts that do
not conflict with the hundreds of other shortcuts in the system).
Comment 3 jlautz 2006-09-15 12:48:14 UTC
Tabbing around the WSDL editor toolbar buttons doesn't show what has focus, so
it was impossible for me to know (without doing Tab Spacebar, like I just did),
that I was actually tabbing to those buttons.

If you like, I can leave this issue and open another saying this.

You are describing a new problem (WSDL editor buttons do not paint focus).
Please open a new bug.

Verified on Windows XP with NB Build 060914:

This works as described, with the problems described. I have opened issue 85032
to track the problem where the button toolbar never provides a visual cue that
it has focus.
