Open a PO schema.  
In Projects, right-click newpo.xsd, choose Apply Design Pattern
In Apply Design Pattern dialog box, change to Salami Slice pattern.
Msg: "Click Finish to apply the "Salami Slice" design pattern and replace all
existing types in the schema.
=> It's actually "remove" the types rather than "replace."  Ditto Russian Doll
pattern.
