This is Gavotte feature for graphical wsdl editor.
The details of use case for this feature is located in WSDL Editor Functional Spec (Gavotte) at: http://alaska.stc.com:10000/alaska/Wiki.jsp?page=WSDLEditorGavotteSpec Search for this bug number and look the description in "Detailed Use case" section.
Add/remove faults are now available in Request/Response and Solicit/Response operations.
In Windows XP with Gavotte Build 070204_12 and JDK 1.5.0_10, I don't see this feature working in the partner view as described in DT-UC-7 in the spec. Please correct the spec if the feature works differently than described so that I can verify that the feature is in the product. Attached is a screen shot showing the context menu for a selected operation, which doesn't have an Add Fault option.
Created attachment 38086 [details] Screen shot showing context menu for operation without option to add a fault
Also not seen with Gavotte build 070206. Logged as issue 94637.
Reopening, since the feature doesn't seem to be there.
The add /remove fault option was added by rico and we used to only show these actions. Since we now added all the action available on corresponding tree node to be shown here, it seems the add/delete action should be availabe here in fault widget as it is in tree node.
When the actions on the operation were changed to reuse the actions in the Nodes view, that single "Add Fault" action was replaced by an Add->Fault action together with the other menu items for an operation Node. It is no longer there.
There is already a bug for the feature not working correctly, see issue 94637.
The bug blocking this feature has been fixed.
Verified on Windows XP with NB 5.5.1 070206 and EP Gavotte 070207_28 with JDK 1.5.0_10. Now I can officially begin testing it.
